The ever-prolific Harris Eisenstadt has led multiple bands in the Sound It Out series, and he returns with his latest, aptly dubbed Recent Developments. All About Jazz has declared Harris “one of his generation’s leading composers,” while The New York Times described his new project this way: “ ‘Recent Developments’ sounds like language from a research study, but it’s also the new body of work by Mr. Eisenstadt, a freethinking yet methodical drummer and composer.”
